There's no place like home!

Back in the UAE! I'm happy to report that I had a great trip to the USA. I was able to spend time with family and visit a couple of yoga studios. I took a wonderful Flow class at Harmony Yoga in Chatsworth, California and a challenging Hatha class Kilimanjaro in Bisbee, Arizona. What great experiences I had in both studios! I even had the opportunity to teach a private Hatha Flow class for a good friend and her daughter. It was so nice to both give and receive the gift of yoga during my travels.

Yoga Plus! classes will resume on Saturday 5 May. If you are plus-sized and would like to try this yoga class that was designed specifically for you, contact me at 050-284-4374. Drop-in Hatha Flow classes will resume at the home studio the week of 6 May.

Yoga in the Air?

Not much room for yoga practice :-(
Tonight I will be taking a 14 hour flight back to my home country...in economy class. There is nothing wrong with flying economy, of course, it's just not the most comfortable option out there.  I'm picturing myself stepping into the galley area to do a few downward dogs and Sun Salutations just to keep the blood flowing. I wonder what the flight crew will have to say about that? In a perfect world, every transcontinental flight would have a specified area for yoga practice.

I'm looking forward to spending the Easter holiday with family & friends. I'm also excited about trying out some yoga classes with teachers who are new to me. My first stop will be In Harmony Yoga http://inharmonyyoga.com/
I'm sure the sessions at In Harmony Yoga will be worth the cramped 14 hour flight!

Hatha Flow & Yoga Plus sessions will resume after my return on 18 April (insha'allah!)

I wish everyone a very peaceful start to spring and an Easter filled with love, happiness and forgiveness.
Now this is more like it!
